What is auto detailing??
Auto Detailing is the performance of an extremely thorough cleaning, polishing and waxing of an automobile, both inside and out, to produce a show-quality level of detail. Besides improving appearance, detailing helps to preserve resale value of a car. And let's be honest, it just feels awesome driving a clean vehicle. Per request we are able to remove stubborn items from the exterior such as adhesives, tar, sap, paint from a fender bender and much more...
Exterior detailing involves cleaning and bringing a shine to the car's paint, chrome trim, windows, wheels, bumpers and tires. Many different products are used to do this, including detergents, vinyl conditioners, shampoos, waxes, polishes, and a variety of applicators and special cloths.
Interior detailing involves cleaning the passenger compartment of the car. All of the dash area, panels, windows, and seats are cleaned extensively. Vacuuming is standard, and shampooing, liquid cleaners, and brushes may be used to remove stains on carpet and upholstery (depending on package choice). Vinyl surfaces are ALL cleaned and polished including all cracks, crevices and vents are cleaned through the use of a high pressure compressed air hose to blow all the crumbs/grime out of those hard to clean areas. Leather interiors are cleaned and conditioned. (This is all performed in our Ultimate Detail Package)
Engine Clean involves degreasing of engine components and overall cleaning under the hood of the car. You will think the Engine is brand new after this service is performed.
Headlight restoration involves special products, sprays, buffers and cleaning cloths to reduce oxidation. This increases the life and effectiveness of your headlights after years of oxidation build up (yellow or off-white looking headlight covers).
Hard Water Stains. These do not disappear with a simple exterior clean. We use a variety of chemicals (including special Muriatic Acids) and applicators that are used to slowly and safely remove those pesky hard water stains on cars.
Tire/Wheel Clean and Protectant includes removal of break dust and other road particulates, tire cleaning and conditioning to prevent cracking, prolong the life of the tire and give them a like new shine. In more sever conditions, polishes or acids may need to be used to get the rim/wheel back to a natural shine.
*Detailing does not include body work, painting, mechanical or upholstery repair.
